Response

Our response work is at the forefront of what we do and why we exist.

Our Responders are trained to deploy and carry out our mission “to provide practical aid and support to Front Line Emergency Services, Local Authorities and Communities in the event of Public Emergency, Severe Weather Incidents, National Crisis and Major Incidents.”

Our vision is to have Response Teams based across the country, able to deploy a fully equipped response team to developing situations, anywhere in the UK, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The vision of UK Emergency Support Services is to have Response Teams based across the country, able to deploy a fully equipped response team to developing situations, anywhere in the UK, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The role sits at both ends of the support spectrum with Operational Deployments including:

  • Flood Preparation Support
  • Post Flood Recovery Support
  • Severe Weather Support
  • Snow Cell Support
  • Staffing access/egress gates and cordons in conjunction with the police & fire service
  • Supply and distribution of bottled water
  • Staffing service welfare vehicles,
  • Providing hands on support at major incidents
  • Medical/First Aid Support and Assistance
  • General Support to all attending services at incidents
  • and more.

To offer this support, on such a scale, we will develop working relationships with Local Authorities, Community Organisations, likeminded volunteer aid groups and of course the Emergency Services.

Why not volunteer to join our Emergency Response or Welfare Team?
